HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Piedra Vista High School in 2013 … Three-year starter at defensive end, guard and kicker for the Panthers … First team all-state defensive lineman as a senior … Second team all-state offensive lineman as a senior … Second team all-district as a junior … All-academic team from 2009-12 … Received Piedra Vista’s Kyler Beaty Spirit Award and Clarence Wheeler Award … National Honor Society.

COACH SMITH SAYS: “We’ll probably start Dylan on the defensive side of the ball, but he’s a player who has the capability to move to the other side. There’s nothing better than an offensive lineman who started out as a defensive lineman. He can get a lot of bigger and a lot stronger, but he can provide some depth to begin with. Recruiting the top local players is always a priority for our program.”
