2014: Named to RMAC Preseason Team

2013: Played in all 11 games ... Recorded 48 tackles and assisted on 11 for a total of 59 ... Nine tackles went for a loss of 40 yards, six of which were sacks for a loss of 34 yards ... Forced two fumbles and recovered one fumble ... Recorded a season high 11 tackles against Black Hills State and a season high nine solo stops ... Three tackles against Oklahoma Baptist went for a loss of 17 yards.

DODGE CITY COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played linebacker for the Conquistadors for two years … Team captain.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Doherty High School in 2010 … Two-year starter at defensive end for the Spartans.

COACH SMITH SAYS: “The linebacker spot is one position that we do need a little bit of help at. Getting Ryan is a plus because it helps us in a need area. Every area is a little bit of a need area, but having someone come in and play immediately is a plus for us.”
