2022-23: Started all 33 games at point guard for the Skyhawks... finished as Fort Lewis' second-leading scorer with 385 total points for an 11.7 per game average... was also the Skyhawks second-leading rebounder with 179 boards for a 5.4 per game average... boasted shooting percentages of .463 from the field, .420 from beyond the arc, and .646 at the free throw line... led FLC with 88 assists for a 2.7 per game average... also grabbed 45 steals and 11 blocks... had a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double against Westminster (Utah) on Jan. 21... ranked 17th in the RMAC in rebounding... ranked 14th in the RMAC in assists... ranked 7th in the RMAC in steals... tabbed with First Team All-RMAC honors... also a member of the RMAC All-Tournament Team.

Missouri Western State University: In his final season with the Griffons Mays started in 25 of his 28 games... averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game... totaled 450 points shooting .410 from the floor, .297 from the three-point line, and .600 at the free throw line... he added 10 blocks and grabbed 42 steals as well... in his junior season he appeared in 25 games, made five starts, and averaged 26.3 minutes per game ... averaged 11.9 points per game and scored in double figures 17 times, with 15 of those coming off the bench ... scored a career-high 32 against Lincoln (3/3/21) in the MIAA Quarterfinals ... added 3.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game ... shot 41.4% (104-251) from the field, 31.1% (32-103) from the three-point line and 76.3% (58-76) from the free throw line... did not lose a year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Johnson County Community College: As a sophomore, he was named the Jayhawk Conference Division II Player of the Year ... played and started in 30 games for the Cavaliers and averaged 16.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game ... shot 53.0% (185-349) from the field, 37.9% (36-95) from the three-point line and 71.9% (100-139) from the free throw line... as a freshman he played in 33 games and made 24 starts ... averaged 8.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game ... shot 42.8% (95-222) from the field, 42.7% (35-82) from three and 62.3% (38-61) from the free throw line.

High School: Mays earned Lincoln Journal-Star Third Team Super-State honors... averaged 16.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game as a senior.

Personal: Son to Ashley Mays... has one sibling, Khamron... currently pursuing his degree in Sports Management.
