RMAC Defensive Player of the Week (Jan. 27)
Allen was a staple and a key driver behind the Skyhawks' full-court style of play in his lone season in Durango, starting in all 30 games played and amassing a team-leading 981 minutes on the hardwood... ranked third in scoring among Skyhawks, averaging 12.5 points per game (375 pts) while shooting 37.2 percent (127-341) from the field, 22.7 percent (22-97) from beyond the arc, and 58.2 percent (989-170) at the free throw line... went for a career-high 24 points against CSU Pueblo (2/20/25) while also setting career marks in field goals made (9) and field goals attempted (20) alongside a season-high eight rebounds... finished the season ranked 23rd in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference for scoring... scored in double-figures 21 times and thrice went for 20+ points... was an essential piece of Fort Lewis' defense, grabbing 56 steals (1.9 stls/game), a mark that ranked third in the RMAC and 68th in NCAA DII, en route to helping FLCÂ average 12.5 steals, 19.35 turnovers forced, and a +6.9 turnover margin, marks that rank second, sixth, and seventh across all of NCAA Division II... led the team with 98 assists averaging 3.3 per game, a mark that ranked seventh in the conference with the league's fifth-best assist/turnover ratio (1.7)... also ranked third on the roster with 120 rebounds (4.0 rebs/game)... blocked two shots... helped Fort Lewis in its run to the semifinals of the 2025 RMAC Tournament... was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on Jan. 27 following the Skyhawks limiting Colorado Christian (Jan. 23) to the fewest points (38) by an NCAA opponent in program history while also grabbing a pair of back-to-back steals with seconds left to overcome UCCS (Jan. 25) in the final moments on the road... was rewarded for his impact with an Honorable Mention All-RMAC nod, marking the third all-conference recognition of his career at the DII level... finished his career with 1,376 career points, including 401 rebounds, 299 assists, 219 steals, and 13 blocked shots.
Prior to FLC: Played four seasons at Northwest Nazarene University (NCAA DII) up in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference... guided NNU to three consecutive GNAC Tournament Appearances (2021-22 to 2023-24) and a pair of trips to the NCAA West Regional (2020-21, 2022-23)... made 75 starts across 94 total games played for the Nighthawks... was named the GNAC Freshmen of the Year in 2021-22 followed by All-GNAC Honorable Mention in 2022-23 and Second-Team All-GNAC in 2023-24... ranked 1st in the GNAC & 5th in the country in steals per game in 2023-24... averaged 13.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.64 steals in his final season with NNU... over the span of his career with the Nighthawks, Allen tallied 1,001 points, 281 rebounds (44 offensive), knocked down 70 three-point field goals, and picked up 201 assists, 163 steals, and 11 blocks... averaged 26.3 minutes and shot at clips of 35.8 percent from the floor, 26.9 percent from beyond the arc, and 68.6 percent at the free-throw line at Northwest Nazarene... Allen caps his time in Nampa currently ranked 7th in games started, 8th in total minutes, 13th in steals, 17th in field goals made, 35th in games played, 36th in scoring, 38th in three-pointers made, 38th in assists, and 46th in made field goals while donning the black and red... was a graduate of Clarkston High School... was named the 2020 2A Player of the Year and a First-Team All-State selection... was a member of the 2A Basketball Academic Champions squad as well as the Most Valuable Player of the GNL.Â
Personal: Born September 7, 2001... son of Sonya Samuels-Allen and Alan Allen... has two siblings, Trevon and Nicole... enjoys listening to Lil Baby, Omarion, playing golf, pizza, and his grandmother's egg rolls... intends on majoring in Communications at FLC... when asked what he enjoyed most about Fort Lewis College, Allen shared, "I love the nature and scenery around Durango."
