Kayla Herrera, who was named the 2017 RMAC Freshman of the Year on Tuesday, led the Skyhawks in scoring with 17.5 PPG in two wins at home against Adams State University and at Westminster College.

She tallied 17 points, five steals, one assist and two rebounds against the Grizzlies. At Westminster on Friday, she scored 18 points and added three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
