November 1, 2009.  Anaheim, CA. -  Not only did the #8 Fort Lewis College Women's Basketball team go 3-0 and win the Disney Tip-Off Classic but they were able to place two on the All-Tournament Team. Senior Allison Rosel was named All-Tournament Team MVP as well as being selected to the All-Tourney Team. Fellow senior Katie Mackey was also named to the All-Tournament Team this past weekend.

Rosel finished the tournament with 43 point (14.3 ppg), led the tournament in rebounds with 31 (10.3 rpg) and shot 68% from the field. She was able to record two double-doubles and was one rebound shy of having a double-double in all threee games they played. Mackey recorded 39 points (13.0 ppg), tallied 14 rebounds (4.7 rpg), dished out seven assists, shot 52% from the field and went 8-9 (88.9%) from the charity stripe.

The Skyhawks defeated San Francisco State, Western Oregon and Southern Indiana at the Anaheim Convention Center. Fort Lewis's next game will be at Division I University of Arizona this Thursday at 7pm in Tucson, AZ. This will be the first Skyhawks exhibition game of the 2009-10 season.
