ALLENDALE, Mich. — No. 3 Fort Lewis (17-2-2) will face No. 14 Winona State (17-3-2) in the third round of the NCAA women's to the third round of the NCAA Division II women's soccer championships at 9 a.m. (MST) on Friday, Nov. 19 at the Grand Valley State University Soccer Fields.
Both teams advanced to the Central Region title bout thanks to triumphs in penalty kick shootouts following their respective second round games last Sunday. Fort Lewis ousted Metro State 4-2 in penalty kicks following a 0-0 draw through 90 minutes of regulation play and two 10-minute overtime periods. Winona State ousted No. 20 Regis in penalty kicks after playing to a 1-1 stalemate. Both games are officially recorded as ties for the teams involved.
The No. 5 Grand Valley State Lakers (18-1-2) face the No. 15 Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers (16-2-2) in the Midwest Region Championship at 11:30 a.m. (MST) Friday, immediately following FLC's game.

The winners of Friday's regional finals will square off against each other at 11 a.m. (MST) Sunday at the GVSU Soccer Fields in the NCAA Division II quarterfinal game. The winner of Sunday's game advances to the NCAA Division II Final Four, to be held in Louisville, Ky., from Dec. 2-4, 2010.
