Tamino Kroeger garnered Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors today as he was named the RMAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced today by the league office.
A native of Weyhe, Germany, Kroeger scored the game winning goal last week in a 2-1 win over the University of Mary in the Skyhawks only game of the week. The Skyhawks, playing in the first home game of the season, were tied with Mary at 1-1 before an hour long lightening delay. In the 84
th minute, Kroeger punched in the game winning goal off an assist from
Zac Lawrence.
Fort Lewis, ranked No. 22 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire national poll, will open their conference season tomorrow at Dirks Field at 3:30 p.m.
