After earning two wins on Saturday against New Mexico Highlands (W, 4-3) and CSU-Pueblo (W, 8-2) in RMAC pod play action, the Skyhawks dropped a pair on Sunday against the Pack (L, 8-6) and Cowgirls (5-3).
Fort Lewis will remain on the road this weekend as they face Colorado School of Mines.  The Skyhawks enter the weekend fifth in the league standings with a 12-8 record, while the Orediggers own a 5-11 league record, placing them 11th in the standings.
The Orediggers post a 27-17 series lead against the Skyhawks when playing in Golden, Colo.
CSM is coming off a four game split at Regis last weekend. The Orediggers have had six games cancelled this season due to weather.
Senior Chelsea Rodriguez became the all-time hits leader on March 22 with 175 career hits, and the home run leader on March 3 against Adams State.  To date, Rodriguez has tallied 37 career homers, breaking Jenna Peters record of 33. Rodriguez also holds career records in total bases (325), runs (152), RBIs (130), and base on balls (124).  
Senior Destinee DeHerrera owns the career record for most doubles with 38.
Rodriguez leads the league in on-base percentage (.596), walks per game (1.00), and third in runs per game (1.26) and batting average (.469).
Adriana Rosthenhausler ranks third in the league in triples with three.  Destinee DeHerrera ranks eighth in the league in home runs (8) and 11th in RBIs (1.11).  Kiley Raica leads the league in the circle in walks allowed per seven innings (1.39).
Fort Lewis is 10-0 when leading their opponent after the second inning, and 13-0 when leading after the third inning.  They are also 9-2 when hitting two or more home runs.
As a team, the Skyhawks rank in the top three in the conference in multiple categories, including scoring (2nd, 6.19 runs per game), batting average (3rd, .332), doubles per game (3rd, 1.56), and slugging percentage (3rd, .504).
The Skyhawks were picked seventh in the RMAC preseason coaches poll.  Senior third baseman Chelsea Rodriguez, last year's RMAC Academic Player of the Year, was also named to the RMAC preseason team.
