Skyhawk Notes

The Skyhawks 10-8 win Sunday afternoon at home over Colorado Mesa snapped a four game losing streak, the Skyhawks longest of the season.

Fort Lewis will travel to Denver, Colo. to face Rollins College on April 12 at 1 p.m., followed by a conference game against Regis the following day at 12 p.m.

The Skyhawks and Rollins have faced each other one time, with RC winning the match up, which was also played at Regis in 2010.

Fort Lewis has yet to post a win against Regis. The Rangers are 11-0 all-time against the Skyhawks and 5-0 when facing FLC in Denver. The Rangers enter the weekend on a three-game winning streak and have won eight of their last nine games.

The Skyhawks rank second in the conference and 19th nationally in ground balls per game with 23.55. They are third overall in the league in points with 201.

Sunday's opponent, Regis University, leads the conference in caused turnovers (12.09), draw controls (14.64), and scoring defense (7.55).
