Adams State University | 12 PMDurango, Colo. | Dirks Field AudioLive StatsVideo For the first time in school history, the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team defeated Colorado School of Mines on the Orediggers home turf. The Skyhawks defeated then-ranked #23 Colorado Mines 2-1 last Friday night.
Fort Lewis went 3-0 last week, all of which were road RMAC games. The Skyhawks played five games in 11 days. This week, however, FLC will play only one game. The Skyhawks will host Adams State University on Sunday at 12 p.m. in a non-conference match.
The Skyhawks sit on top of the league standings with 24 points (8-1-0). They are 10-2-1 overall and are on a seven game winning streak. Fort Lewis needs one more RMAC win to clinch the regular season title.
After going 3-0 on the road last week, the Skyhawks moved up one spot to No. 14 in this week's NSCCA National Poll.
Kodie Johnson saw her first action of the season between the posts last week. Johnson earned two 1-0 shutout wins at Adams State on Wednesday and against at Colorado Christian on Sunday.
Seven Skyhawks were named to the 2015 RMAC All-Academic Team, announced earlier this week.

Brooke Milliet and
Ana Moran earned Honor Roll accolades.
The Skyhawks are 20-2-3 all-time against Adams State, and 10-0-2 when facing the Grizzlies on Dirks Field. Before last year's 0-0 double overtime tie on Oct. 1, 2014, the Skyhawks had won 18 straight games over ASU. In the last 20 games (including last week's 1-0 win at ASU), FLC has shutout the Grizzlies 13 times and have only allowed eight total goals.
The Skyhawks lead the league in fewest goals allowed (8), and they rank second in goals against average (0.60) and shutouts (0.46). FLC is fifth in the RMAC in points (43), goals (17) and assists (9).
Alicia Sanchez is amongst the conference leaders in goals (first, 5), game-winning goals (first, 4), points (second, 11) and points per game (fifth, 11).

Brooke Milliet is second in the league in assists with 3.
Goalkeeper
Caitlyn Espinosa leads the league in saves percentage (.895), and she is second in saves (6.18 per game), third in shutouts (4), and fourth in goals against average (0.71).
