VideoFort Lewis College, the No. 2 seed in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament, will face No. 3 seed UCCS on Friday in the semifinal round. The Mountain Lions defeated No. 6 seed New Mexico Highlands University in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday, 2-0.

Friday's match in Golden will be the third time this season the Skyhawks and UCCS have played each other. FLC won the first game on Oct. 4 at home, 1-0 in overtime, and again last Friday at UCCS, 2-1.

The Skyhawks are 15-6-3 (.688) all-time in the RMAC Women's Soccer Tournament.Â

FLC is 3-0 all-time against the Mountain Lions in the conference postseason tournament. Friday's match will be the first time the two teams have met on a neutral site field.

The Skyhawks have out-scored UCCS in all three games, 6-0. The last time FLC and UCCS met each other in the RMAC Tournament was Nov. 6, 2013 (FLC won, 1-0).

FLC is 13-2-0 all-time against UCCS.

If the Skyhawks defeat UCCS, they would face the winner between No. 1 seed Colorado Mines and #5 seed MSU Denver on Sunday at 12 p.m. in RMAC Tournament Championship game.

One week after being removed from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II Women's Soccer top 25 poll, the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team appeared back in the top 25. The Skyhawks are ranked No. 25 in this week's poll.
