About the Skyhawks
The Skyhawks come into this matchup having just won their first back-to-back road games all season. Fort Lewis is 12-8 so far this season and 9-7 in RMAC play. 

Fort Lewis is currently sitting in seventh place in the RMAC standings, and will face the second and third teams in the league, UCCS and CSU-Pueblo, respectively.

The Skyhawks have one of the best defenses in the conference allowing only 60 points per game, the fourth fewest points allowed by any team in the RMAC. Fort Lewis is also second in the RMAC for defensive field goal percentage, holding opponents to 34.7  percent. The Skyhawks rank second in steals (208) and third in blocked shots (78 total).
 
Fort Lewis has two student-athletes ranked in the top 20 for rebounding with Mary Brinton placing ninth (6.3) and Kaile Magazzeni 12th overall (6.2  rebounds per game) in the RMAC. Magazzeni is fifth in the RMAC with a total of 29 blocked shots. Kate Bayes is third in the RMAC in steals with a 2.4 average. Brinton ranks first the RMAC in field goal percentage, knocking down 55.3 percent of her shots, and sixth overall in scoring (14.1 points per game).

About the Thunderwolves
Colorado State-Pueblo is coming off a 74-68 home win over UCCS.  The ThunderWolves have won four of their last five games.  They are 3-5 on the road this season.

CSU-Pueblo boasts the top scoring defense in the league, surrendering only 58.2 points per game.  They net 62.7 points per game to out-score their opponents by 4.5 points per game.  Defensively, the ThunderWolves are fifth in the RMAC in blocked shots (51) and fourth in steals (183).

Ashley Piper is the top scorer for the ThunderWolves with 12.6 points per game.  Piper is fifth in the league in rebounding (7.2 average), just behind Katie Nehf's 7.4 average. Nehf is also second in the league in blocked shots with 42.

All-Time Series vs. Colorado State-Pueblo
The ThunderWolves are on a three-game winning streak against the Skyhawks, including a 62-51 win earlier this season.  CSU-Pueblo owns the series against Fort Lewis with an all-time record of 37-33.  FLC is 20-12 against the Pack when playing in Whalen Gymnasium.

About the Mountain Lions
The Mountain Lions are one game behind first place (Colorado Mesa) in the RMAC standings.  UCCS is 6-3 on the road this season, and 5-2 on the road in RMAC games.

The Mountain Lions'  77.8 points per game lead the RMAC, as does their 11.1 scoring margin advantage. They are the top field goal shooting team in the conference, making 43.7 percent of their shots (603-of-1380), and they lead the league in blocks (92) and offensive rebounds (318).

Two of the top three scorers in the league hail from UCCS.  Abby Kirchoff leads all RMAC scorers with 21.0 points per game.  Brittany Hernandez is third in the league with 18.2 points per game.  Hernandez is also the top rebounder in the league with 9.5 rebounds per game.  Kirchoff has the second best free throw shooting mark in the league, making 107-of-118 for 90.7 percent, and the second most made three-point field goals (61).  Hernandez has blocked 45 shots in 21 games to lead the league.

All-Time Series vs. UCCS
The Skyhawk lead the series against University of Colorado Colorado Springs, 25-21.  The Mountain Lions have won the last two games against the Skyhawks, both of which have been on UCCS home court.
