About the Skyhawks
Fort Lewis clinched a spot in the RMAC playoffs with a home sweep over MSU Denver and Regis this past weekend.  The Skyhawks held both opponents to under 50 points each.
 
Kaile Magazzeni tied a school record for most blocks in a game when she blocked seven shots against Regis Saturday night.
 
The Skyhawks are 2-0 in overtime games this season.
 
The Skyhawks have one of the best defenses in the conference allowing only 59.4 points per game, the third fewest points allowed by any team in the RMAC. Fort Lewis is also first in the RMAC for defensive field goal percentage, holding opponents to 33.6 percent. The Skyhawks rank third in steals (236) and first in blocked shots (106 total).
 
Fort Lewis has two student-athletes ranked in the top 20 for rebounding with Magazzeni seventh overall (6.5 rebounds per game) and Mary Brinton placing 12th (6.2) in the RMAC. Magazzeni is fourth in the RMAC with a total of 41 blocked shots. Kate Bayes is fifth in the RMAC in steals with a 2.1 average. Brinton ranks first the RMAC in field goal percentage, knocking down 54.5 percent of her shots, and ninth overall in scoring (13.7 points per game).
 
About the Mountaineers
Western State heads into this match up with an overall record of 4-20 and a RMAC record of 3-17. The Mountaineers are on a 13 game losing streak.  The three wins this season have all come at home.

The Mavericks Erin Reichle is the second leading scorer in the RMAC with 18.1 points per game.  She has also made the most three-pointers (69), has the second best free throw shooting mark in the league (90.6 percent) and has dished out 92 assists.
 
Teammate Leanndra Gilbert is averaging 10.5 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game, the second most in the league.  She leads the team in blocked shots with 35.
