Skyhawks Women's Lacrosse Game Day Notes - March 20, 2015Fort Lewis is coming off a weekend that yielded two road victories to help the Skyhawks gain third place in the RMAC.Â
The first game was played on Saturday against CSU-Pueblo with the Skyhawks posting a 15-7 win. Â This is the first season CSUP is sponsoring women's lacrosse. Â

Ellie Carpenter and
Sara McMahon each recorded hat tricks against the Pack.
The Skyhawks followed up that performance with another 15 goal showing winning at Adams State 15-2. Freshman
Taylor Cabrera was on fire as she had a hat trick in both games. She earned a Skyhawk Student-Athlete of the Week award for her sensational performance. Â Â
The Skyhawks will spend their spring break in Michigan facing Davenport University, Aquinas College and Grand Valley State University. Â The matches against Davenport and Aquinas are the first in program history for the Skyhawks. Â FLC is 0-1 against Grand Valley State, falling 14-11 on March 30, 2012 in Denver, Colo.

Davenport is led by Kaitlyn Lowden who has 10 goals along with 13 total points this season. Taylor Balch has nine goals and leads the team in total points with 18. Samantha Powers will be blocking shots for Davenport. She has a 4.80 goal average in 12 games played this season. Â
Aquinas College is 1-3 this season. Â Alexandra Burns and Hannah Crosby have each scored 17 goals. Â Lucy Montanaro leads AC in-between the posts with three games under her belt. Â She has allowed 45 goals scored and made 26 saves with a 15.59 GAA.

The GVSU Lakers are led by Erika Neuman who has scored nearly half of the team's goals (51). Â Neuman has tallied 20 goals and 3 assists in five games. Â In goal, Sarah Zwilisky has played all 300 minutes and has a GAA of 12.40. Â The Lakers are 2-3 overall. Â Eleven of their 12 starters have started all five games this season.
