The Skyhawks are coming off a rough weekend on the road going 1-3. Â The first day in Alamosa was split (W, 10-5; L, 0-3).
Nikki Klepfer led the Skyhawks with three runs batted in in the victory over the Grizzlies.
Victoria Johnson pitched 6.1 innings posting four earned runs and two strikeouts. The second day was swept by Adams State (L, 4-8; L, 0-8). Freshman
Denae Fisher drove in a runner for one of the four tallies. Slugger
Myndee Thompson had a double that was good for two RBIs.
Kaitlyn Bending capped off the scoring when she scored off a fielding error.Â

The Skyhawks will get their chance to rebound this weekend at home on Easter weekend against MSU Denver.

The Roadrunners have an overall record of 23-9 and a RMAC record of 14-4. MSU Denver is 5-4 in road games this season. The Skyhawks have an all-time record of 9-31 against the Roadrunners. MSU Denver holds an all-time record of 15-2 when playing Fort Lewis in Durango.
