The Skyhawks went 2-1 for their spring break road trip. The first game resulted in a 10-5 win in Grand Rapids, Mich. against Davenport University. Ellie Carpenter led the way for Fort Lewis scoring four goals. Teammate Sara McMahon was on fire as well scoring three goals and passing for one assist. The Skyhawks stayed in Grand Rapids for a game against Aquinas College. Fort Lewis won 13-4. Rebecca Miller led all scorers with four goals. The final game of the road trip was against Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Fort Lewis fell 5-16 with Ellie Carpenter scoring two goals. 
 
The Skyhawks will host their first home game of the season this weekend on April 4. Fort Lewis will face Colorado Mesa University in a RMAC rematch. The Skyhawks defeated the Mavericks earlier this season 7-6 in Grand Junction. 
 
Fort Lewis is 10-0 all-time against Colorado Mesa including a 4-0 home record. 
 
The Mavericks head into this matchup with an overall record of 6-3 and a conference record of 1-1. Colorado Mesa is 4-1 on the road this season. They are led by Ashley Eickhoff who has 23 goals and six assists. Stopping shots for the Mavericks is Jilian Pfeiffer who has 38 saves this season. 
 
Sarah McMahon leads the Skyhawks in goals with 14. She has 15 total points this season. Teammate Ellie Carpenter leads the team in points with 18 (13 goals, five assists). Brie Walker has 24 saves this season and has posted a 4-1 mark in games started.
