Fort Lewis heads into this weekend with an RMAC record of 11-17 and are in 10^th in the league standings.

The Skyhawks are coming off a weekend on the road going winless at Colorado Mesa, which is currently first in the league standings.  The first day in Grand Junction was swept by the Mavericks (L, 10-11; L, 0-8 (6)). The Mavericks came back to win two on Sunday to complete the sweep against the Skyhawks (L, 5-8 (6), L, 2-10 (6)).

The Skyhawks will get a chance at improving their record this weekend at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in RMAC pod play with Colorado Mines joining in on the action.

The Mountain Lions have an overall record of 14-21 and an RMAC record of 12-18. Dani Fonseca leads UCCS in offense with a batting average of .363 and 37 RBI's with 12 homeruns. Stephanie Chitkowski will step into the circle for UCCS. She has an ERA of 5.20 with 74 strikeouts in 22 appearances.  Dani Fonseca will get the ball in the second game each day. Colorado Mines will join UCCS and Fort Lewis in Colorado Springs for RMAC pod play. The Orediggers have an overall record of 10-31 and an RMAC record of 8-19. Paige Noehring is the leader batter for Colorado Mines with an average of .366 and 20 runs batted in. Teammate Dana Gallegos has a batting average of .336 on 46 total hits. Hallie Smith will pitch the first game each day for the Orediggers. She has posted an ERA of 5.43 this season with 101 batters struck out.
