The Skyhawks won their home opener this weekend defeating Colorado Mesa, 12-10. Sara McMahon led the Skyhawks in scoring with four goals. Rebecca Miller was a close second with three goals. Ellie Carpenter recorded one goal to go with two assists.  Ally Guerrero recorded her first start of the season and came up with 10 saves. The Skyhawk defense came through to win the game, fighting of a fierce Mesa comeback. Katlyne Duffey caused three turnovers and teammate Natalie Mitchell caused two.   
 
The Skyhawks will be on the road visiting No. 3 Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri on Friday.  They will play their final road game of the regular season on Sunday at Rockhurst University.
 
Fort Lewis is winless against Lindenwood going 0-5 all-time with a road record of 0-2. 
 
The Lions are undefeated this season going 10-0 and 5-0 in RMAC games played. They are led by Melissa Menchella who has 34 goals this season for a total of 43 points. Teammate Sophie Buelow has 24 goals this season for 29 total points. In goal is Rachel Ortell who has 55 saves this season.  

Rockhurst is 4-6 overall and in sixth place in the league standings with a 1-4 record.  They are led by Tessa Boots' 26 goals and Madeline Gilstraps 18 assists.  Guarding the goal is Natalie Washington who is 4-6 and has a 13.37 goals against average.  The Skyhawks are 1-0 all-time against the Hawks.
 
Sara McMahon leads the Skyhawks in goals with 18. She has 19 total points this season. Teammate Ellie Carpenter leads the team in points with 21 (14 goals, seven assists). Brie Walker has 24 saves this season and has posted a 4-1 mark in games started with a 7.95 goals against average.
