FLC will play host to Western State Colorado University on Friday at 12:30 p.m., and UCCS on Sunday at 1 p.m.
WSCU enters the weekend with a 4-4-1 overall record and a 2-3-0 RMAC record. They are currently tied for sixth place in the league with three points.
The Skyhawks and Mountaineers have faced each other only three times. The series is tied, 1-1-1. The first (and last) time FLC hosted WSCU on Dirks Field was Sept. 26, 2014, which resulted in a 0-0 double overtime tie.
UCCS is tied with Colorado Mines for the league lead. UCCS has earned 10 points in the conference standings with a 3-1-1 record (6-2-1 overall). The Mountain Lions are on a two game winning streak and are ranked No. 21 in the latest NSCAA poll.
FLC is 11-2-0 all-time against UCCS, and 6-2-0 against the Mountain Lions on Dirks Field. The Skyhawks have won the last four matchups. FLC has not allowed a UCCS goal in the last four games.
FLC opened their home season last weekend and posted two wins against Colorado Mesa University and Westminster College.
Sophomore midfielder
Alicia Sanchez was named the RMAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. She scored game-winning goals in back-to-back home games against Colorado Mesa and Westminster.
Sanchez converted on a penalty kick in overtime on Friday against the Mavericks to lift the Skyhawks to a 2-1 win. On Sunday her second half goal broke a 1-1 tie with the Griffins. Both of her shot attempts on the weekend were on goal.
Fort Lewis improves their series lead to 18-13-5 all-time against the Mavericks, and 11-6-1 against CMU on Dirks Field. In their last 12 games, FLC holds a 10-1-2 against CMU, including eight shutouts over the Mavericks.
Sunday's match against Westminster College was the first time the two teams have ever played each other. The Griffins are in their first year as a full member of the RMAC.
The Skyhawks are fourth in the league in points (3.5 points per game), goals (11), assists (6), goals allowed (7), and goals against average (0.84).
Sanchez is fourth in the league in goals (3) and sixth in the league in points (7).
Courtney Riley and Sanchez are tied for third in the RMAC in game-winning goals. They have each netted two game-winning goals.
Brooke Milliet's two assists are the second most in the RMAC this year.
Goalkeeper
Caitlyn Espinosa ranks fourth in the RMAC in save percentage (.854), and fifth in goals against average (0.84), saves (41).
As a team, the Skyhawks rank fourth in the RMAC in points (18), goals (7), assists (4), assists per game (0.67), and goals allowed (5).

Fort Lewis received 86 points and finished fourth in the RMAC coaches' preseason poll.
Junior midfielder
Jordan Hix was selected to the preseason team. A native of Albuquerque, Hix was selected to the 2014 All-RMAC Second Team. She saw action in 16 games last season and started 12, notching 31 shots (11 shots on goal).
