NOTES
Fort Lewis College will wrap up the regular season at home this weekend against No. 10 Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Christian University.

Friday's game will kick off at 3 p.m.  The Skyhawks five seniors – Carolyn Archer, Keisha Green, Haleigh Macomb, Courtney Riley and Dayli Schmieder – will recognize five faculty members on Faculty Appreciation Day.  On Sunday, the seniors will be recognized before kickoff on Senior Day.

FLC played one game last weekend and drew a 1-1 tie at home against Adams State University.

With Sunday's tie against the Grizzlies, FLC clinched a playoff spot in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference championship tournament.  The Skyhawks are seventh in the league standings with 16 points (5-4-1), but are sixth in the tournament seedings entering the last weekend due to Westminster not being eligible for post-season play.

The conference championship tournament expands to eight teams this year.  The top four seeds will host seeds five through eight in the first round on Nov. 2.

The Skyhawks are sixth in the league in assists (13), seventh in points (55), eighth in goals (21) and 10th in shots (177).

THE SERIES
Colorado Mines leads the all-time series against the Skyhawks, 11-7-1.  FLC is 5-4-0 when facing the Orediggers on Dirks Field.  CSM has won six of the last seven games against FLC.

FLC owns a 25-12-2 series record against Colorado Christian, and the Skyhawks are 12-4-2 at home over the Cougars.  Fort Lewis has won 20 straight games against CCU.  In those 20 games, the Skyhawks have shutout CCU 13 times and only allowed eight goals total.  In 39 meetings with CCU, FLC has not allowed more than two goals in a game, which has occurred only four times.

SCOUTING THE OREDIGGERS
Colorado School of Mines enters the weekend with a national ranking of No. 10 in the NSCAA, and the top ranking in the NCAA South Central Regional poll.  CSM is tied with Colorado State-Pueblo in the league standings with an 8-2-0 league record, good for 24 points (14-2-0 overall).  Mines is led by Emily Garnier with 17 points (five goals, seven assists), and Sam Zumbro's league-leading goals against average (0.59).

SCOUTING THE COUGARS
The Cougars come to Durango with a 3-4-3 league record and a 6-6-3 overall record.  The Cougars are 1-0-3 in their last four games.  CCU has scored 25 goals this season and allowed 18.  Mariah Fredericks leads CCU with 17 points (eight goals, one assist).  Defending the goal is Shaya Lawrence who owns a 0.78 goals against average.

2015 WRAPUP
The Skyhawks finished the 2015 season with a double overtime 0-0 tie against St. Edward's University in San Angelo, Texas in the NCAA Women's Soccer South Central Region First Round game.  SEU advanced to the second round on penalty kicks.  Last year's NCAA tournament berth was the sixth time in program history FLC competed in the NCAA post-season.

MEET THE TEAM
FLC returns eight starters from last year's NCAA qualifying team (Alicia Sanchez, Shayla Malecki, Courtney Riley, Carolyn Archer, Haleigh Macomb, Keisha Green, Andra Thaden and Dayli Schmieder).  Starters Brooke Milliet, Jordan Hix and Caitlyn Espinosa are not returning after graduating last year.

PRESEAON HONORS
After finishing second overall in the 2015 regular season standings, the Fort Lewis College women's soccer team is picked to finish second in the 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference preseason poll. The Skyhawks earned 128 points behind the league favorite Colorado School of Mines.  FLC also received votes in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America preseason poll.  The Skyhawks finished the 2015 season second in the league with an 8-2-1 league record (12-5-4).

PROVEN COACH
