Box Score DENVER – February 28, 2017 – A second quarter slow down by No. 4 seed Regis University ended the fifth-seeded Fort Lewis College women's basketball tournament run short Tuesday night in Denver, Colo. at the Regis Fieldhouse. The Skyhawks lost a 71-61 decision to the Rangers in the quarterfinal game of the 2017 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship Tournament.
FLC led after one quarter, 19-14, and took their largest lead of the game, 22-14, with 9:49 left in the first half. However, the Skyhawks were outscored in the next seven minutes by the Rangers, 17-3.
Trailing by only three at the half, 37-34, the Skyhawks came up short in the second half, 34-27.
Briana Clah led all scorers with 23 points. Four of her six made field goals came from behind the arc.

Kayla Herrera added 14 points, and
Shelby Patterson scored 10 points.
Alyssa Yocky was one point shy of a double-double after pulling down 10 rebounds and scoring nine points.
Ande Lampert accounted for four of the Skyhawks seven blocked shots.
FLC was out-rebounded by the Rangers, 52-30. Regis used a 21-11 offensive rebounding advantage to score 27 second chance points.
The loss moves the Skyhawks to 21-7 on the season while Regis improves to 22-6.
