The Fort Lewis College softball team will finish up an eight game home stand with two doubleheaders against Regis University this Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's games will start at 12 p.m. and Sunday's will start at 11 a.m. The games will be played at Aztec Tigers Sports Complex in Aztec, N.M.

FLC (1-20 overall, 0-12 RMAC) looks to snap an 18-game losing streak this weekend at home. The Skyhawks are coming off losses against MSU Denver (6-15, 5-18, 1-10, 0-17).

Angelique Elemen led the Skyhawks offense in the first two games against the Roadrunners before being ruled out of games three and four. Elemen recorded two hits, which were both homeruns, and three RBIs.

Adrianna Rosthenhausler led Fort Lewis with five hits on the weekend while also driving in two runs. Rosthenhasler also made her season debut in the circle pitching one inning.

Megan Redd pitched 6.1 innings for the Skyhawks and came out with a 5.53 earned run average while striking out one batter.

Elemen is second in the league with 26 runs batted in. Â She is also tied for the third most homeruns this season with six.

Adrianna Rosthenhausler has been walked a team high 14 times on the season. Rosthenhausler is batting .346 and has an on-base percentage of .493 on the season.

As a team, the Skyhawks are batting .273 and are sixth in the league with 27 doubles. The Skyhawks have collected 147 hits on 539 at-bats. Forty-three of the Skyhawks 147 hits have been extra-base hits.

SCOUTING THE rangers
Regis University is 14-14 on the season (6-6 conference) and is coming off a home split (2-2) against Chadron State College.

RU is batting .312 on the season and is fourth in total runs with 133 runners crossing the plate. The Rangers are second in the league with 18 homeruns and lead the RMAC with 47 stolen bases on the season. The pitching for the Rangers are second in the league in strikeouts, fanning 110 batters.

The Rangers are led by Carlie Sexton who has a batting average of .443, which is sixth in the RMAC. Her 39 hits on the season lead the conference. Emily John leads the team in doubles (10), homeruns (4), and RBIs (17). Logan Losh leads the RMAC with a 2.12 earned run average, 76 strikeouts, and 10 wins on the year.
