The Fort Lewis College softball team will continue their 17-game road swing with two doubleheaders against Colorado Christian University this Saturday and Sunday. The Skyhawks will start Saturday's doubleheader at 12 p.m. and Sunday's at 11 a.m.
NOTES
FLC (1-12 overall, 0-4 RMAC) looks to snap a 10 game losing streak this weekend in Golden, Colorado. The Skyhawks are coming off losses against Colorado School of Mines (7-15, 6-11, 3-10, and 3-11).
Adrianna Rosthenhausler led the Skyhawks offense with five runs batted in while batting .500 with and on-base percentage of .786.
Angelique Elemen added four hits and four RBIs.
Madison Stanich pitched 5.2 innings in two games this past weekend, giving up 10 earned runs. She struck out three on the weekend and gave up 16 hits.
Elemen leads the conference in runs batted in with 21. She is also tied for the third most home runs this season with four.
Gianna Melaragno has the third most runs (15) and is tied for second in triples (two) in the conference.
As a team, the Skyhawks are batting .285 and are fourth in the league with 22 doubles. The Skyhawks have collected 100 hits on 351 at-bats. Thirty of the Skyhawks 100 hits have been extra-base hits.
SCOUTING THE COUGARS
Colorado Christian is coming off a 3-1 record on the road against New Mexico Highlands University. The Cougars are 13-7 on the season and 2-0 at home.
The Cougars are third in the league in team batting average (.318), and homeruns (12). They lead the league in hits (177) and runs (123). CCU's pitching is second in the league with a 4.99 earned run average and they have struck out 104 batters which leads the league.
CCU's offense is led by Charlotte Romero who is second in the league in hits (23) and doubles (7). Hanna Farmer leads the RMAC in runs scored crossing the plate 22 times. The Cougars boast two of the top three strikeout leaders in the conference. Kenzie Mattey is second in strikeouts, fanning 45 batters and Kelsea Sweeney is third with 38 strikeouts.

FLC will play their first home games next week, March 11-12, against MSU Denver. The games will be played at Aztec Tigers Sports Complex in New Mexico.
