The Fort Lewis College softball team will start an eight game home stand with two doubleheaders against MSU Denver this Saturday and Sunday. The Skyhawks will start Saturday's doubleheader at 12 p.m. and Sunday's at 11 a.m. The games will be played at Aztec Tigers Sports Complex in New Mexico.

FLC (1-16 overall, 0-8 RMAC) looks to snap a 14-game losing streak this weekend at home. The Skyhawks are coming off losses against Colorado Christian University (4-13, 2-6, 0-8, 5-6).

Tehenia Telliano led the Skyhawks offense with three RBIs while batting .333 with three doubles this past weekend.
Tristen Gilbert added her first homerun on the season while also recording three hits.

Madison Stanich pitched 8.1 innings in three games (two starts) this past weekend, giving up 10 earned runs. She struck out six while only giving up one walk.

Angelique Elemen is tied for the league lead in runs batted in with 23. Â She is also tied for the third most homeruns this season with four.

Adriana Rosthenhausler has been walked 14 times on the season which is third in the league. Rosthenhausler is batting .349 and has an on-base percentage of .571 on the season.

As a team, the Skyhawks are batting .272 and are fifth in the league with 27 doubles. The Skyhawks have collected 121 hits on 445 at-bats. Thirty-six of the Skyhawks 121 hits have been extra-base hits.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
MSU Denver is riding an eight game win streak, all conference games, and is 14-7 on the season (8-0 conference). The Roadrunners are 0-2 on the road this season.

MSUD is third in the league in team batting average (.323) and hits (189). They are second in the conference with 126 runs this season. The Roadrunners pitching is second in the league with a 3.20 earned run average and is holding opposing teams to a .282 batting average.

The Roadrunners offense is led by Annika Anderson who is hitting at a .448 mark and has 30 hits on the season. Sarena Espinoza is tied for second in the league with 21 runs batted in this season. MSU's pitching is led by Cassidy Smith and Hayley Fields. Smith has an ERA of 2.95, which is sixth lowest in the league and Fields posts a 3.23 ERA, which is seventh lowest in the RMAC.
