Softball Plays Final Regular Season Road Games against ThunderWolves

UPCOMING GAMES
The Fort Lewis softball team hits the road against Colorado State-Pueblo for a four game series this weekend. Saturday's games will start at 12 p.m. while Sunday's doubleheader begins at 11 a.m.
 
NOTES
The Skyhawks are 11th in the RMAC standings with a 5-27 record and is 6-35 overall.
 
FLC picked up one win this holiday weekend (0-12, 10-7, 4-8, 4-5) in a four game series against University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
 
Angelique Elemen led the Skyhawks offense this weekend by driving in five runs and hitting two homeruns. Elemen added six hits, two of which were doubles. Tehenia Telliano led the team with eight hits and added four RBIs. Adriana Rosthenhausler also added four runs batted in. Madison Stanich picked up the lone win in the circle pitching her third complete game on the season while adding seven strikeouts.
 
Elemen is second in the league with 50 runs batted in and tied for second in the conference with 12 homeruns. She leads the team in batting average (.378), hits (42), total bases (85), on-base percentage (.452) and slugging percentage (.766).
 
Rosthenhausler leads the team in walks (17), doubles (11), and assists (87).
 
As a team, the Skyhawks are batting .290 and have recorded 100 extra base hits. Fort Lewis ranks sixth in the conference with 30 homeruns.  FLC has scored the seventh most runs (205) and RBIs (180) in the league.
 
SCOUTING THE THUNDERWOLVES
CSU-Pueblo is 15-25 on the season and are ranked ninth in the RMAC with a 12-20 conference record.
 
The ThunderWolves are tied for fifth in the conference with a .306 batting average and are fourth in the league with 33 homeruns. CSUP averages 4.75 runs per game.
 
Sabrina Felix is fifth in the conference batting .422 this season. Michaela Burpee ranks fifth in the league with 10 homeruns and leads her team with 30 runs batted in.
 
UP NEXT
Fort Lewis will conclude their regular season at home against Chadron State College on April 29-30 for a four game series.
