FLC Women's Soccer Adds Gras Lloy to 2022 Recruiting Class

| By:
DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis College women's soccer head coach Damian Clarke announced the addition of Berta Gras Lloy to the FLC women's soccer program for the 2022 season. Gras Lloy joins nine additional student-athletes who signed national letters of intent to join the Skyhawks for the 2022 season.

Meet the Newcomer
Berta Gras Lloy [Midfielder, 5-3, Manresa, Barcelona, Spain]
Gras Lloy joins the Skyhawks as a midfielder and has played soccer since the age of seven. Gras Lloy has competed for F.C. Barcelona in the past three seasons, captaining the squad for one season. Her F.C. Barcelona team played in a Regional Championship and won the league on three occasions.

Clarke's comments on Gras Lloy: Berta is our first foreign commit, and it's pretty exciting for the program as a whole.  Berta is from Barcelona and has even spent time as the captain of FC Barcelona before moving to her current club.  She is a technical central midfield player, who has a soccer IQ to match her technique.  I think she will add an ability to find a final pass, and help us connect the lines through a competent build at times.  We think she is going to be a fun addition to our growth in 2022.
