Skyhawks earn bid to NCAA Tournament, set for third matchup with UCCS in opening round

DURANGO, Colo. – After completing the regular and conference championship season with an 11-4-4 overall record while capturing the program's first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Regular Season title since 2011 and ninth overall and ranking tenth on the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 Coaches Poll, the Skyhawks are finally headed back to the big dance.
 
Fort Lewis men's soccer has earned an at-large bid to the 2023 NCAA Tournament as Super Region 4's eighth-seed and will face ninth-seeded University of Colorado Colorado Springs (10-5-5) in the opening round on Friday, Nov. 17, at 2:00 p.m. It will be the Skyhawks' and Mountain Lions' third go-around this season. UCCS took the first matchup 3-2 and Fort Lewis answered with a 4-0 victory in round two in the RMAC Tournament Semifinals. 
 
The Skyhawks and Mountain Lions will face off on the campus of the host institution and first-seeded Midwestern State University (19-0-1).
