BOULDER CITY, Nev. – Another season of Skyhawks golf came to an end Tuesday afternoon at the Boulder Creek Golf Club as the Fort Lewis College men's and women's golf teams fought to fourth and ninth-place finishes at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships guided by Ronald Kildall III's tie for sixth on the men's side and Molly Schwartz's tie for 32nd on the women's.

As a unit, the Fort Lewis men finished the three-day, three-round tournament with an even par of 864 after carding scores of 278 (-10) in round one, 294 (+6) in round two, and shaving off a pair of strokes for a 292 (+4) in their final trip through the Coyote Run and Desert Hawk courses.

No. 6-ranked Colorado Christina put its strength on full display as the top-ranked Cougars ended up 30 strokes below par while cruising to the program's first-ever RMAC Championship title with an astounding 834 team score. The Cougars occupied two of the top-five finishes including Adam Duncan who won the individual title with a 13-under score of 203.

Kildall III, who has now finished T-6th or better in each of his last three tournament outings, paced his men's squad with a four-under-par score of 212 after posting back-to-back rounds of 75 (+3) and 72 (E) after opening the tournament with a career-low and tournament-best 65 (-7).

Sophomore Jordan Jennings and Henry Poston supplied the only other pair of top-25 finishes as the duo ended the tournament in a tie for 12th (215, -1) and 18th place (217, +1), respectively.

Struggles caged the ladies' squad through the final round of competition as Fort Lewis fell to ninth on a third-round score of 340 (+52). The Skyhawks carded scores of 309 (+21) and 328 (+40) through the first two rounds to end the tournament at 977 (+113) overall.

CSU Pueblo, who led the tournament since its opening round, captured the team championship with ease as the ThunderWolves ended up with an 889 (+25) team total and a 22-stroke lead. While The Pack won the team title, it was Regis' Meredith Boos who took home the individual championship with a final total of 217 (+1).
