LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Scorching heats combined with breezy conditions provided quite the challenge on day two of the NCAA West South Central Super Regional as Ronald Kildall III dropped to 106th ahead of tomorrow's final round of competition down at the New Mexico State Golf Course.

Kildall III opened the day with a seven-over 42 through the front nine with pars on holes three, six, and seven. Closing out the back nine, Kildall III managed to find par on four holes alongside a birdie on hole 12. Still, two double bogeys and a triple bogey caged Kildall III and ultimately dropped the junior to a 165 (+23) total and into 106th place.

Western New Mexico, who held a four-stroke lead after tallying a 277 (-7) in round one, dropped into a tie for third following the second round of action. West Texas A&M followed up its first-round par of 284 with a five-under 279 to capture first place and a one-stroke lead heading into the final round.

As for the individuals, Colorado Christian's Adam Duncan, Oklahoma Christian's Leandro Mihaich, and Cal State San Bernardino's Chris Wardrup each finished five (66), four (67), and two (69) strokes under par in their second trip through the course to force a three-way tie for first heading into the final round. The trio boasts a six-under 136.

The final round will tee off tomorrow, Saturday, May 11, at 8:20 a.m.
