Heck named to CSC Academic All-District Team

DURANGO, Colo. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA, have released their Track & Field/XC Academic All-District teams, and senior Katie Heck was among those honored.

The honor is the second of Heck's career after graduating with a degree in Business Administration in May and boasting a 3.90 GPA. The senior was a three-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team All-Academic honoree, as well as earning spots on the Honor Roll multiple times.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Select Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, and Sorenson has been chosen to advance for All-America consideration. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed on the following pages.

The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
