WEST POINT, Miss. – The Fort Lewis College men's golf team closed out the Dunning Invitational shooting an identical score to round two with a nine-over-par 297 to finish in sixth place as a team with a twenty-over total of 884 for the tournament.

The Skyhawks, who sat in fourth place after day one, dropped two spots through the final round as Delta State jumped into fourth place with an 872 (+8) team total, followed by Henderson State, who jumped three spots into fifth with an 879 (+15). Midwestern State cruised to the team title after registering the only below-par score as a team with a five-under 859. The Mustangs were led by junior Seth Bearden who dominated the field and won the individual title with a 201 (-15) after carding rounds of 66 (-6), 67 (-5), and 68 (-4).

Jordan Jennings held his position as the top Skyhawk at the tournament but ultimately fell to seventh on the individual leaderboards after finishing five-over-par in his final round on a 77. On the flip side, Traejan Andrews had quite the final round himself as the junior carded a one-under 71 to jump 12 spots and capture a tie for 17th.
