DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis women's golf will close out the fall portion of its 2025-26 schedule on Monday and Tuesday next door in Pueblo, Colo., against a tough field at the NCAA West Region Preview at Pueblo Country Club.

The two-day, 36-hole event will take place at the par-71 Pueblo Country Club. Originally opened in 1903, the club officially opened its nine-hole course in 1926 before Henry Hughes later improved on the previous design in 1964-65 to build the 18-hole championship course that still stands today. Pueblo Country Club plays up to a course rating of 70.4 and a slope of 128.

Fort Lewis will return to action following three weeks of rest after bringing home a tie for fourth-place as a squad at the Westminster Wasatch Invitational in South Jordan, Utah.  The Skyhawks fired off a team score of 621 (+45), paced by Dimery Plewe's seventh-place individual finish on the strength of a six-over-par 150. This week, the Skyhawks are sending Plewe, Isabel Bustillos, Kathryn Moores, Peyton Gibby, and Sarah Grenemyer.

The daunting 18-team field at the West Region Preview will feature five ranked teams from the Women's Golf Coaches Association Division II Mizuno coaches' poll: No. 3 Dallas Baptist University, No. 9 California State University San Marcos, No. 12 West Texas A&M University, No. 15 St. Mary's University, and No. 17 Midwestern State University.

The rest of the field includes Metropolitan State University of Denver, California State University Monterey Bay, Western Washington University, Western New Mexico University, Texas A&M International University, Lubbock Christian University, Colorado Christian University, California State University Los Angeles, Angelo State University, Colorado Mesa University, Simon Fraser University, Westminster University, Vanguard University, California State University East Bay, and host-institution Colorado State University Pueblo. In addition, Cal State Los Angeles, Cal State East Bay, Simon Fraser, and CSU Pueblo each received votes in the latest edition of the national poll.

All of the action will kick off with tee times scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday's forecast in Pueblo calls for mostly sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees. On Tuesday, clouds should creep in, but the highs for the day will rise to 75 degrees.
