10/8/2025 3:26:00 PM

DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis College women's soccer is back on Dirks Field for two more Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matches as it welcomes New Mexico Highlands and Adams State University for a Friday/Sunday split.

Last Time Out
The Skyhawks began the week with a match versus nationally ranked Colorado Mesa University, a contest that was played for 13 minutes before intense weather resulted in a cancelation. The teams hoped to find a reschedule date, but due to the limited rest and intensive conference schedule, the game will go down as a no contest.

Fort Lewis turned around with a Sunday match against Westminster University and walked away with a 1-0 win thanks to a late penalty kick goal from senior Renee Junna.

Westminster held an 18-13 advantage in shots for the match, but Fort Lewis earned a 9-7 edge in shots on target. Freshman goalkeeper Trinity Lujan collected a career-high seven saves in a memorable shutout for the young keeper. Senior Abigail Nkrumah and Salazar each picked up two shots on goal. Junior Ann Spence, senior Josie Coulter, and Junna played fulltime.
