COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – After the first winning season for a Fort Lewis College volleyball team since 2010, the Skyhawks have three players named to All-Conference teams, announced by the league on Thursday.

Senior Ella Butler was named Second Team All-Conference, her second time as a Second Team member and fourth All-Conference honor of her career. Butler enjoyed another dynamic season in the middle, totaling 160 kills, 46 blocks, and 15 aces despite suffering a season-ending injury in November. She produced a hitting efficiency of .321 to mark a career-best and rank ninth in the conference. Butler was named the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on October 27 after averaging 1.75 blocks per set across a pair of conference wins.

Freshman Alyx Daugherty joined Butler on the Second Team after a prolific inaugural campaign in blue and gold. Daugherty earned the libero jersey at the start of league play and never looked back, averaging 5.36 digs per set in conference play to rank second in the conference. She was the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week on November 10 after matching a program record with 40 digs in a five set game against (RV) UCCS. The freshman committed just 10 receiving errors on 402 chances (.975) and averaged over one assist per set.

Junior Alina Nunez earned a spot on the Honorable Mention All-Conference team thanks to an efficient season in a new position. Nunez moved to the right side after a few weeks of play and never looked back, putting up 2.49 kills per set to rank second on the roster. In conference matches, she led the team in hitting efficiency at .260 and averaged nearly three kills per set. Nunez earned a season-high 21 kills (.340) against (RV) UCCS on November 8 and recorded double-digit kills in five-straight matches heading into the RMAC Tournament.

The RMAC Player of the Year honors went to Cealyn Gunn of CSU Pueblo. The Pack also picked up the Setter of the Year in Elena Stankovic. MSU Denver's Karyna Werley earned Freshman of the Year honors, and her teammate Alyssa Boyte was the Defensive Player of the Year.
