DURANGO, Colo. – For the second time in as many years, the Fort Lewis softball team (1-7, 0-3 RMAC) will line up opposite Colorado School of Mines (2-12, 2-2 RMAC) at Joe Coors, Jr. Softball Field as the Skyhawks engage the Orediggers in a four-game Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series over in Golden.

Last Time Out
The Skyhawks are heading back to the Denver, Colorado, area this weekend after dropping a three-game series to MSU Denver (8-4, 3-0 RMAC) last Sunday and Monday. The series was moved to the metro area due to winter weather conditions in Durango. Fort Lewis registered just one run in the series on a sacrifice fly from Cali Niccum that plated Briana Jorgensen in the first contest of the weekend. MSU Denver outscored Fort Lewis 19-1 over the series.

Fort Lewis enters the weekend with the twelve-best batting average (.205) and fourth-best earned run average (ERA) (3.81) among league opponents. In the circle, FLC has surrendered the second-fewest earned runs in the league (31), with opponents holding a .303 average.
