COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Three student-athletes from the Fort Lewis College softball team, including senior third baseman Briana Jorgensen, senior outfielder Faith Sgro, and redshirt freshman outfielder Makenna Milliman, have been named to the 2025 All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, the league announced Wednesday morning.

Leading the trio is Jorgensen, who earned her first Second-Team All-RMAC accolade. The two-year Skyhawk graduated from Vista Grande High School in Casa Grande, Ariz., and played two seasons at Phoenix College before transferring to Fort Lewis in 2024.

This season, Jorgensen spent every inning at third base, starting in all 46 games played for the Skyhawks, and stands as one of two players to start in over 40 games this season. The right-handed hitter finished second on the roster with a .331 batting average and first in slugging percentage (.563) thanks to a team-leading 14 doubles and five home runs. In addition, Jorgensen led the team with 80 total bases and 28 runs batted in (RBI), scored 22 runs, and drew the second-most walks with 13. In the field, Jorgensen held a .901 fielding percentage across 101 chances.

Sgro became the second Skyhawk in as many years to earn a nod to the league's Gold Glove Team and is the first position player since Angelique Elemen (first base) did so back in 2019. A four-year Skyhawk, Sgro made her way to Fort Lewis in 2022 after graduating from Liberty High School in Phoenix, Ariz.

Making 36 starts in 45 games, Sgro was perfect in the outfield, recording 69 putouts, registering three assists, and assisting in one double play across 72 chances. At the plate, Sgro supplied a .263 average with 25 hits, including a pair of doubles, for one RBI and 12 runs scored. In addition, Sgro drew seven walks and made three sacrifice hits.

Rounding out the trio is Milliman, who earned an Honorable Mention All-RMAC nod in her first season as a Skyhawk. Recently named Fort Lewis' Female Comeback Athlete of the Year at its annual Skyler's student-athletes awards, Milliman returned to action with a bang after being sidelined in 2024 due to injury.

A graduate of Esperanza High School in Yorba Linda, Calif., Milliman made 35 starts in her 37 games played in the outfield. Defensively, Milliman carried a .942 fielding percentage with 59 putouts and six assists in 69 chances. On the flip side, Milliman led the Skyhawks offense with a .391 batting average and .527 slugging percentage with 43 total hits, including six doubles and three home runs for 24 RBIs, 11 runs scored, and 58 total bases.

Colorado Christian's Elise McMullin was named the Player of the Year, and Colorado Mesa's Jessalyn Gallegos the Freshman of the Year. Black Hills State's Laci Peskey and Ashlyn Englehorn were named the Pitcher of the Year and Coach of the Year, respectively.
