10 Skyhawks named 2024-25 Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes

DURANGO, Colo. – Ten student-athletes from the 2025 Fort Lewis College Skyhawks softball team have been named Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athletes.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 Grade Point Average or higher for the 2024-25 academic year. There is no minimum GPA for teams, and nominations are made by an institution's head coach.

As a team, Fort Lewis boasted a 3.296 GPA last academic year. The ten Skyhawks awarded include Skyler Dietz, Zoey Langerak, Rhiannon Lister, Makenna Milliman, Sienna Mullin, Cali Niccum, Stacia Raley, Amiee Shanks, McKenna Timmons, and Mykel Torres.

Four players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams in the spring, including Dietz, Niccum, Milliman, and Shanks, who was also a three-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First-Team selection. Mullin, Torres, Raley, Milliman, and Niccum were each named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
