DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis College Head Men's Golf Coach Sean Griswold has signed three talented freshmen to the Skyhawks men's golf team for the upcoming 2025-26 campaign.

Two of the Skyhawks, Chase Rogers and Dallin Stephens, hail from Litchfield Park and Flagstaff, Arizona, respectively, while Connor Burton makes his way to Durango from Claremore, Oklahoma.

Burton was a two-sport athlete at Claremore High School, earning three varsity letters each for the Zebras boys golf and boys soccer teams. With a career-best single-round score of 70, Burton was a three-time qualifier for the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association Boys Golf State Championship.

Rogers, one of the two Skyhawks from one of the country's best golfing states, was a four-year letterwinner and team captain for the Tigers at Millennium High School and helped his squad to the program's highest-ever team finish.

Stephens rounds out the trio as another two-sport athlete and a graduate of Arizona State University's Prep Digital Academy. While with the Sun Devils, Stephens earned four varsity letters with the boys golf team and one letter with the boys basketball team. In addition, Stephens also competed throughout the Junior Golf Association of Arizona and the Texas Junior Golf Tour, won medalist honors at the 2024 TJGT Qauil Valley STX Kickoff in Missouri City, Texas, finished T-8th among a field of 150 golfers at the 2024 Noah Begay III Southern Regional Tournament, and took T-12th among 105 golfers in the Texas Junior Golf Tournament Tour Championship.

Fort Lewis will kick off its 2025-26 season at the Pilgrim's Run Invitational from Sept. 8-9, hosted by West Texas A&M, at Pilgrim's Run Golf Course in Pierson, Michigan.
