Men’s and women’s cross country rise in USTFCCCA week 2 polls

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Fort Lewis College men's and women's cross country teams rose one spot in the week two version of the 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II National Coaches' Polls.

The men's team improved one spot to rank No. 18—the third-highest national ranking in program history. The Skyhawks women moved up to No. 10 to re-break the previously established record for the highest ranking in program history.

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) was well-represented in both polls, once again, with six teams on the men's side and eight teams on the women's side scattered throughout the top-25 rankings.
