6/16/2026 10:00:00 AM

DURANGO, Colo. – Fort Lewis Skyhawks women's golfers Dimery Plewe and Annika Gutierrez have both been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, the organization announced on Tuesday morning.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the course and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Select Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on July 8.

Plewe, named Fort Lewis' Don Whalen Women's Academic Player of the Year at this year's Skyler's awards, highlights the two women's selections as a two-time honoree, and most recently, as a 2025-26 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic First-Team selection. The Four Corners native and graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School up the road in Cortez, Colo., played in all 10 tournaments for the Skyhawks this season, carrying a 78.19 per-round scoring average en route to helping her squad match its program-best fifth-place team finish at the RMAC Championships (Apr. 19-21). Plewe recently graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in English and carried a 3.97 GPA.

Gutierrez, a two-time RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll honoree, captured her first nod to the CSC Academic All-District® teams. A junior out of Peoria, Ariz., Gutierrez competed in five tournaments for FLC and assisted the Skyhawks in matching their program-best fifth-place finish at the RMAC Championships. Through her 10 rounds, Gutierrez put up an 81.87 per-round scoring average on the links and took a season-best T-32 at the Southwest Minnesota State University Spring Invite (Mar. 9-10), alongside a 3.54 GPA while working towards her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences.
