Skyhawks Men's Soccer Game Day Notes | Nov. 3, 2015

The Fort Lewis College men's soccer team received the fifth seed in the 2015 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Tournament.  The Skyhawks will travel to fourth seed MSU Denver Wednesday in the first round of the tournament.
 
The Skyhawks (11-5-2, 6-3-1 RMAC) and Roadrunners (13-3-2, 8-2-0) will be facing each other less that one week from their first meeting of the season.  MSU Denver recorded a 2-1 win at Fort Lewis on Friday, Oct. 30.
 
No. 1 seed Colorado Mines and No. 2 seed Colorado Mesa receive first round byes.  CMU, UCCS and MSU Denver finished in a three-way tie for second place in the standings.  UCCS received the No. 3 seed, followed by MSU Denver, Fort Lewis and sixth seed CSU-Pueblo.
 
Wednesday's game will kick off at 4 p.m.  The winner will face top seed Colorado School of Mines on Friday, Nov. 6 in the semifinal round.
 
FLC owns a 33-22-4 all-time record over the Roadrunners, and are 14-10-2 at MSU Denver.  The last time the Skyhawks defeated the Roadrunners at Regency Athletic Complex was Oct. 26, 2014 (W, 2-1 OT).
 
The Skyhawks finished the regular season with an 11-5-2 (.667) overall record and a 6-3-1 (.650) RMAC record.  FLC was 6-2-1 at home and 5-3-1 on the road.
 
Fort Lewis ranks second in the league in shots (320), third in assists (30), fourth in points (100) and goals (35), fifth in goals allowed (20) and sixth in saves (84).
 
Yannis Becker's seven assists and 66 shots are the second most in the league.  He is third in game-winning goals (4), sixth in points (19) and eighth in goals (6).  Tamino Kroeger ranks fourth in points per game (1.15), sixth in goals (7) and eighth in shots (39).  Zac Lawrence's 12 points are the eighth most in the league and his four assists tie him for the sixth most.
 
Freshman Elliot Chadderton is third in the league in shutouts (6), fifth in goals against average (1.019) and saves percentage (.815).
 
Sean Cleary was named to the 2015 RMAC All-Academic First Team and Alex Tillberry was named to the 2015 RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
