COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sophomore setter Natalia Lambos has been named the final Rocky Mountain Setter of the Week for the 2022 season following an undefeated home weekend. The honor is the first of Lambos' career.

The sophomore setter is hitting her stride at the right time for the surging Skyhawks. Lambos totaled 96 assists over the weekend, averaging 12.0 assists per set. She coordinated a Fort Lewis offense that saw four players in double-digit kills in the team's key win over New Mexico Highlands on Saturday. The win in the season finale secured the Skyhawks a spot in the RMAC Tournament.

Lambos was masterful in leading middle blockers Rylee Johnson and Ella Butler to career weekends on the offensive side of the ball. On Friday, the senior/freshman duo combined for 25 of the team's 53 kills on a .666 hitting efficiency. Johnson's 16-kill effort ties a career-high and her hitting percentage of .583 is a new record, bettering a .563 mark against Western New Mexico early in the year. Butler's .750 efficiency shattered her previous mark of .466 (vs. Texas Permian Basin, Sept. 3).

Saturday's win saw Lambos sprawling out on defense with a season-high 12 digs--one shy of a career-high. She is averaging 8.13 assists per set this season to go along with 136 digs and 36 total blocks. The Denver product owns 799 career assists and 244 career digs after two seasons in the blue and gold.

Fort Lewis has earned the eight seed in the RMAC Tournament and will travel to the Auraria Event Center for a Thursday matchup against the top seeded MSU Denver Roadrunners. It will be the third time that the teams will face in the 2022 season with MSU Denver earning a pair of wins.
