Senior Katie Heck has advanced to the NCAA National Championships in the 800m as the 5th seed

Heck qualifies for NCAA Division II Track & Field Indoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The entries for the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships have been released, and senior Katie Heck earned a spot in the 800m.

The 2024 championships will take place Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9 at the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. Pittsburg State University will host the event.

Following a second-place finish at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships last week, Heck enters the national championships seeded fifth in the field of 17 with a seed time of 2:08.37. The event features four student-athletes from the RMAC—including three of the top-five times. Heck is the first student-athlete in Fort Lewis College history to compete at the Indoor National Championships.
