BUCKEYE, Ariz. – The Fort Lewis men's golf team will compete for a podium finish tomorrow afternoon in the final round of The Stack Cougar-Burro Collegiate, which will be moved to the Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz., for the final 18 holes, after the Skyhawks climbed into fourth place, trailing second place by a single stroke.

The Skyhawks, guided by Ronald Kildall III, who resides in a tie for 14th after shooting an even-par of 72 to pair with his first score of 74 (+2) for a 146 (+2) total on the scorecard, carded a 298 (+10) to bring its team score to 594 (+18) and one-stroke ahead of No. 27 Colorado Mesa who sits at 595 (+19). Westminster and Western Washington will enter the final round with a one-stroke lead over FLC, with both teams sitting at 593 (+17) overall. No. 1 Colorado Christian extended its commanding lead and now sits 11-under-par on a 565 to lead the field by 28 strokes.

As for individuals, Colorado Christian still maintains four of the top five positions in the tournament, but Colorado Mesa's No. 12-ranked Cole Beyer has climbed into second place behind the Cougar's No. 2-ranked Adam Duncan. While Duncan was four-under-par in his first round, he went just one-under in round two to hold off Beyer, who followed up his two-under-par first round with a two-under performance in round two. Duncan leads the field with a five-under-par 139.

For the Skyhawks, Traejan Andrews is right on the heels of Kildall III after matching the senior with an even par in round two. It was Andrews' first-round score of 75 (+3) that put the junior one stroke back in a tie for 17th. Jake Chesler is right behind the pair, searching for a top-25 finish as well and currently sitting in a tie for 22nd on a five-over-par score of 149.

Tyler Tyson and Jordan Jennings round out Fort Lewis on the team side, with the Skyhawks currently trailing the pack in ties for 35th and 51st, respectively. Tyson stands at eight strokes over par with 152, alongside Ian Henderson who is competing unattached, against Jennings' 154 (+10).
