Skyhawks Stay Ranked
The men's team jumped nine spots to land at No. 19 nationally after a strong performance at the Joe I. Vigil Invitational in Alamosa two weeks ago—the largest improvement of any program in the poll. The next biggest leap belonged to Lee University, which moved up six places. For Fort Lewis, the No. 19 ranking is the program's highest since finishing 13th at the 2023 NCAA DII National Championships.

On the women's side, the Skyhawks rose four places to No. 11, marking the highest national ranking in program history. They sit just outside the top 10, where four other Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) programs are positioned. A key factor in the team's rise was senior Hannah Hartwell's standout performance at the Joe I. Vigil Invitational. Hartwell claimed the individual title, shattered the meet record, and earned both RMAC and National Runner of the Week honors for her efforts.
