DURANGO, Colo. – For the second time in as many years, the Fort Lewis College men's golf team will venture north to The Bridges Golf & Country Club in Montrose, Colo., to co-host the San Juan Intercollegiate alongside No. 22-ranked Colorado Mesa University on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21-22.

Last Time Out
Fort Lewis is coming off a 10^th-place team finish at last week's season-opening Travis Roy Memorial Invitational (Sept. 13-15) up in Sheridan, Wyo. The Skyhawks turned in a 913 (+49) team score through three rounds, led by sophomore Chase Rogers, who carded a 226 (+10) with single-round scores of 72 (E), 77 (+5), and 77 (+5) to capture a T-25 finish.

The Bridges Golf & Country Club features a Nicklaus Design layout that will stretch out to 7,017 yards and play to a par 71. Fort Lewis' full roster will tackle the course, with Rogers, Benjamin Harding, Dalling Stephens, Mateo Berastegui, and Talan Gover representing the main squad, while Anderson Helmer, Connor Burton, Johnathon Smith, and Preston Ross comprise the B team.

Quality Field
13 teams fill the field; however, Fort Lewis, Colorado Mesa, and Colorado School of Mines will each field a B team, leaving a total of 10 different institutions, including No. 16-ranked West Texas A&M University, No. 18-ranked Colorado Christian University, No. 19-ranked Colorado State University Pueblo, Western New Mexico University, Texas A&M International University, California State University Monterey Bay, and Garden City Community College.

Looking Ahead
Fort Lewis will enjoy a short rest after the tournament before returning to action at The Hrnciar, hosted by Cameron University, down at The Territory Golf Club in Duncan, Okla., on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6.
