DURANGO, Colo. – With an unbeaten record through the first two weeks of the season, the Fort Lewis College men's soccer team has soared up the national rankings and now checks in at No. 12 in the latest edition of the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Coaches Poll.

Fort Lewis (3-0-1) is coming off a hard-fought 1-1 draw on a neutral pitch with previously No. 14-ranked Fort Hays State University (2-1-1), which fell to No. 25 in this week's rankings, after a resounding 3-1 victory over St. Edward's University (1-1-1) in the Skyhawks' home opener last Thursday.

The Skyhawks offense has been a force to be reckoned with thus far, putting up multiple goals in three of its four matches to average 3.25 goals per game with a +10-goal differential, marks that rank 11th and 5th respectively across Division II. In addition, Fort Lewis is firing off 12.75 shots per game with a lethal 8.75 shots on-goal, boasting a 68.6 percent shots-on-goal percentage. FLC sits 79th, eighth, and second nationally in the aforementioned categories.

University of Colorado Colorado Springs (3-0-1) leads all Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference programs on the poll, followed by the Skyhawks at No. 12, and Colorado State University Pueblo (3-0-0) at No. 22. Regis University (1-1-1), which checked in at No. 20 last week, has since fallen out of the poll but is still receiving votes.

Up next for Fort Lewis is a lone midweek match at Northwest Nazarene University (1-0-3) this Thursday, Sept. 10. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. on the NNU Soccer & LAX Field. Fans can stream the match on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Network.
