Ponce recorded two starts across his 10 games played for Fort Lewis... made his first career catch for six yards against Colorado Mesa (Oct. 26) and his first kick return against the Mavericks as well... recovered his first fumble and made a two-yard return in the season-opener against William Jewell (Aug. 31)... made two tackles through the season with an assisted tackle at Adams State (Nov. 2) and a solo tackle at #24/NR Colorado School of Mines (Nov. 16)... picked up his second-straight nod to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll, his third-consecutive Academic All-Colorado First-Team accolade from the National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter, and was one of four Skyhawks to be named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District teams.

Made five starts across his 11 games played for the Skyhawks... tied for the sixth-most tackles on the roster with 32.0 total including 15.0 solo and 17.0 assisted... recorded 2.5 tackles for a combined 15 yards of loss including 1.0 sacks for a nine-yard loss in the season-opener at William Jewell (Sept. 2)... twice recorded a season-high 5.0 tackles at William Jewell (Sept. 2) and at Adams State (Sept. 23)... also registered a quarterback hurry against the Cardinals (Sept. 2)... picked up his first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll nod alongside his second consecutive Academic All-Colorado First-Team nod from the NFFCC.

Played in all ten games for the Skyhawks, making nine starts... registered 40.0 tackles, 21 solo, and 19 assisted... made 2.0 tackles for a five-yard loss, including 1.0 sacks for a loss of four yards... made one quarterback hurry... earned his first Academic All-Colorado First-Team honor from the NFFCC. 

Prior to FLC: Played Football all four years at Upland High School... named Team Captain his senior season... was a two-time Upland Iron Man award winner... earned All-Baseline League Academic and Linebacker honors... is a 2018 D2 CIF Champion. 

Personal: Son of Elizabeth and Joseph Ponce... has one brother, Timothy, and one sister, Lauren... pursuing his degree in Business Administration.
