Dailey V elevated himself to a more prominent role on the defensive line, making four starts across his 10 games played for the Skyhawks... registered 18 total tackles, including seven solo and 11 assisted tackles... made 3.5 tackles for loss and picked up his first career sack for one yard at Arizona Christian (Sept. 6)... went for a career-high five total tackles, four assisted and one solo, and made one tackle for one yard lost at Colorado Mesa (Oct. 25)... tied for the fifth-most tackles for loss on the roster... one of 11 different Skyhawks to register half a sack or more... had two or more tackles on four occasions... rose to the occasion with four assisted tackles and half a tackle for loss against #7/5 Western Colorado (Oct. 4)... picked up his first nod to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Roll as well as the National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter (NFFCC) Academic All-Colorado First-Team.Â
2024 (Freshman)
Appeared in two games for the Skyhawks... utilized a redshirt to retain a season of eligibility... made his collegiate debut at home against #16/14 CSU Pueblo (Oct. 12)... made his first collegiate tackle and forced his first fumble on the road at #24/NR Colorado School of Mines (Nov. 16).
Prior to FLC: Dailey V was a three-year letterwinner at Denver East after missing his sophomore season... was an All-Conference selection as a senior... made 10 tackles in Denver East's first appearance in the playoffs since the early 2000s.
Personal: Born May 8, 2006... son of Mj Dailey V... has one sibling, Sevvon... hobbies include spending time with family, creating art, and listening to music... enjoys listening to Playboi Carti, Veeze, Lucki, Yeat, and Erykah Badu... favorite foods include honey hot wings and baked mac and cheese... intends on majoring in Psychology while at FLC... when asked what he enjoys most about Fort Lewis, Daily V shared, "the calm and peacefulness of the area."Â
